Which Excel formats are supported?+
Both .xlsx (Excel 2007 and later) and the older .xls (Excel 97–2003) formats are supported. Most files downloaded from SPARK or Kerala Government portals will be .xlsx.
Can I choose which sheet to convert?+
Yes. If your Excel file has multiple sheets, the tool will detect all sheet names and let you select which one to convert to CSV. Only the selected sheet is exported.
Will formulas and formatting be preserved in the CSV?+
CSV is a plain-text format and does not support formulas, cell colours, or formatting. The tool exports the calculated values (not formulas) from each cell. Formatting such as bold, fonts, and borders will not be present in the CSV output.
Is there a file size limit?+
There is no enforced limit, but very large Excel files (tens of thousands of rows) may take a few seconds to process depending on your device. For best results, keep files under 20 MB.
